Makes good welds on .15mm and .1 pure nickel
Marginal performance on 0.2mm nickel strip for assembling Lithium battery packs, but works very well with 0.15mm and 0.1mm strip. A single weld at 70% current 4 pulses makes a connection sufficiently strong that the strip rips, rather than the weld failing when you try and tear it apart.I've only used the handheld electrodes which are very convenient for larger battery packs. The electrodes do wear out, so buy a couple of packs when you get the welder, they are cheap and easy to find.

Could be better
Decent enough weld, but overall quality of the unit could be better for the price. Also came with a US plug instead of a UK one.
