Davis Instruments - 3000357 7345.297 Wind Vane for Vantage Vue is

this an excelent weather station over the years this is my third one.

This is obviously a direct replacement for the Vantage Vue and it fit perfectly.KEEP in mind...... this requires a tiny tiny allen wrench to install, I believe it's a 1mm. I have more tools that a man should be allowed and I didn't have that small of a wrench. I ended up taking a tiny screwdriver and carefully sanding it down to fit the set screw. This allowed it to be tighten appropriately as it doesn't take massive amounts of torque to hold it into place.Highly Recommended.

Exact fit for the unit. Easy install and high quality. No problems

Cannot say how good it works bc I was sent only the propeller and not the main item. UGH

Davis Vuepro wind vane broke during a snow event last winter with only a piece of the plastic remaining. Ordered from Amazon rather than Davis due to free shipping. Item arrived in a few days but without the 1/16 Allen wrench needed to change out the broken one and add the new vane. Thus took more time to search for this and for the most part you have to buy several wrenches together to get this one! Just a hassle and time consuming as still yet to find the right wrench. Otherwise ok.

It was very easy for me to replace the wind vane. All I had to do was take off the old one and slide this one on and use an allen wrench. I have had this product for a few months now and still is in perfect condition and works perfectly.

Perfect replacement wind vane for my Vantage Vue, which was damaged by a falling tree limb. However, it requires a VERY small allen hex wrench to install it properly. You'd think that, for $22 for a piece of plastic, they could have included a .05¢ wrench.
